Missing Out

Our poor friends are really missing out. Fortunately until now they have had no idea but after this post I am sure the depression will hit. :-)

I think next year we need to host a Halloween party so all our friends can experience the amazing event that is "trick-or-treating" in our neighborhood. Our neighbors are so thrilled to have anyone knock on their door or ring their bell that they give out mass quantities of sugary treats. You need only hit a fraction of houses you would normally go to in a "planned community" to reap the heavy rewards.

Notes from this year: Beeb was Hannah Montana (bleh!) and Mr. B was a Storm Trooper who refused to wear his mask so really he was just some kid dressed up in a strange white polyester jumpsuit.



(Why yes that is an 8 pack of Twix candy bars. Seriously our neighbors are AMAZING!)





Last weekend I took the kiddo's to the zoo for the annual "Pumpkin Prowl". We'd never been before and had a good time. Next year though, I'll buy our tickets in advance and arrive early and head straight to the Zoomazium first.
