The length of the stitched up area is 3"!!! AH was not walking around with a gigantic mole on his back so I am very perplexed as to why so much tissue had to be removed in comparison with the actual size of the mole. However, I do know that skin cancer is not something you mess with so I am glad they got all the tissue and hope no further procedures will be needed.

Molerific
About 16 months ago AH had some moles inspected and biopsied off his body. One mole in particular came back with a funky report which got the dermatologist all worked up. Calls from them came in to me frequently with urgent requests for AH to come back in to have the mole in question removed - for good. I would pass the messages on to AH and AH, being a guy, put off going back in until I finally gave the dermatologist AH's work number and instructed them to nag AH and not me. It worked. AH had the mole in question removed from his back earlier this week. The next night I removed the bandages so I could clean the area and was flabbergasted by the sheer surface area removed from AH's back.

WOW. That is the mother of all scars!
That was nice of him to wax his back before the procedure/photo shoot.
Ha ha ha Stokes. Alas, he does not have yoru Tom Selleck hair tendancies - no waxing was required (nor shaving).
Sure. Totally believable. Look at how shiny that thing is... I mean it's still glistening. Totally looks like a wax job to me. And the glistening must be coming from whatever lotion he's using to keep the redness down.
